Leslie Wilder

Being a native of the artists mecca Gloucester, Massachusetts, Leslie Wilder was inspired as a child to study painting and drawing. She took a number of classes over the years but was unable to devote time to it until she retired in 1993 from a career as an editor. Since then, she has taken many art classes and exhibited watercolors and pastels with several local art groups, including the Springfield Art Guild, the Art League at the Torpedo Factory, and Cobblestone Gallery in Old Town, Alexandria. For six years she rented studio space at Columbia Pike Artist Studios.
